Tour Day 12 9-16-12

We didn't really do anything today. After sleeping in (again) we drove only an hour to our next destination, Markham, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto. We unpacked the van completely to do an inventory and consolidate our mass of books.

Afterward Amanda swam 750 meters in the hotel pool for a fitocracy quest (www.fitocracy.com). Mom and Dad were intent on doing the same, but Mom got a severe foot cramp.

A little later we went out to Wendy's for lunch/dinner. Now Mom is busy doing inventory.

The most tantalizing thing ever. There's...a button on my wall. O.o What does it do?

My spiffin' shoes. Amanda has spiffin' socks. I have spiffin' shoes.

  1. Nice shoes! Very spiffin shoes! Have you guys tried Tim Horton’s yet? Have you seen what the button does? You know if you don't press it you'll forever wonder what it does and it will drive you mad, or are you already mad?

  2. Lovely shoes. And very interesting button. You should press it; find out what it does. And then let us know. Especially if it opens a portal or something, LOL.

  3. @ Sarah: Yeah, wouldn't that be cool?

That button reminds me of when I was in American Eagle one time with my friends. The lady there was so nice - there was this button in the change room, and naturally I was curious about its function. So she let me try it out and told me it alerted the employees through headsets that someone in a changeroom needed assistance (a different size, style, etc). That's my button story. :)
